We will be putting him to sleep tomorrow so I humbly ask all dog/animal lovers to please say a prayer for Rocky who has been the best friend one could ever imagine. I only hop that I am at least somewhat like him...he has and always will be God's gift to me. I love you Rocky with all my heart and soul forever! I love it and always have. I found this site, by doing a search on my favorite patron saint, St Francis of Assisi, to learn about his life. When I pray to God, when I am feeling down, often I ask St Francis of Assisi to pray for me. When I think no one cares, I know that HE does. I also love the 23rd Psalm of David. Both of these prayers are to me, so meaningful, and give me hope that I can be an instrument of goodness and hope for a better world. Life is not easy and fighting for justice, for those less fortunate, even harder. Sometimes its easy to feel the fight is bigger than we are. But when I take the time to consider these beautiful lines, as with the 23rd Psalm, I am comforted and rejuvenated as well. This prayer is like poetry to me. I love it and always have.
